But more about that later.
On the way back from the John Innes Centre last week I spied a rather interesting sign. I’m not sure what was going on but I think that it was a call to typographers to congregate in the outside lane, well that’s what happened at least.
Firstly, Apologies for the awful image quality but a good friend of ours was trying to show us the name of a place which would be perfect for one of our new projects. Could we just turn the flash on? I don’t know. The wine was flowing, it was pretty late and I should have taken some pictures when I got there but enough with the excuses.
I’m sure that everyone who knows a thing or two about leather will have already made a trip down to the legendary JT Batchelor shop (if your business card needs to specify that you are in England then I’m pretty sure that ‘legendary’ is not an understatement).
The leather warehouse is absolutely filled to the rafters with leather, buckles and anything else that sparkles. I’m a big fan of traditional industries and suppliers so it was a real treat to find this place. If nothing else, go there for the intoxicating scent and the amazing collection of tools.
